The Clay Station at Mankas Corners
Fairfield, CA
April 26 & 27, 2008 11 - 4
What a view! All the folks at the lovely Mira Vista Country Club were fabulous. We really enjoyed our day there and getting to meet the other talented artists. We also enjoyed meeting the many club members who stopped by. We hope to be back for another show closer to the holidays.
It was great to be back at Art on the Vine this year. The company was wonderful - the wind was a real challange! Glad to see all of our friends and especially one of our original cheerleaders who had some wonderful news. She knows who she is!!! Wooden Valley did their usual excellent job of providing music and location. Thanks to all of them for another successful show.
What wonderful weather we had for the weekend potter's art sale! It appears we have moved straight from winter into summer. I guess spring was on Tuesday. We had some fun new pieces on display, (photos have been taken and will be available on the website in a few days) with some unusually cut stones and fossils from a great rock shop off of Hwy 80 on the way up to Sacramento. Thanks to everyone who came by to visit and browse and we hope to see you in a month at Art on the Vine.
It was terrific to be back with the Mankas Potters Co-op. We always have a great time. Thanks to everyone who came by to visit. We had wonderful weather on Saturday and terrible weather on Sunday. Oh, well. One out of two ain't bad.
Hello to everyone who visited us at the Art on the Vine art show. We were a bit hard to find but we hope it was worth it. Sorry to those of you who missed seeing my partner, Judie. She was unfortunately unable to attend but she will be there in Benicia in September.
Muncy-Ratcliff would like to thank the Mankas Corner Potter's co-op and the Clay Station for again inviting us to participate in their wonderful spring sale. We missed Saturday due to rain but Sunday was a great day and we met lots of new people and visited with some return customers we haven't seen since last year. If you missed us here, we'll be at Art on the Vine in June. If you want to see the great ceramic art, the Clay Station is open for business every week. Give them a call at:707-422-4249 for hours and days of operation.
